With the grand finale right around the corner, the time has come for this year’s hunky Bachelor to meet Emma Roche’s nearest and dearest during hometown visits!
Tonight, the loved up pair travelled to Emma’s hometown of NSW where they spent the afternoon with her closest friends and family.
And Matt is actually smitten!
“The Irish chat, the giggle – always makes me feel comfortable, and I never have to worry where I stand with her.”
Instead of going for something overly fancy, Emma opted for a low key afternoon with Matt. The loved up couple soaked up the sunshine as they went for a long and leisurely stroll with her two puppies, Teddy and Bear before they dropped them off at the groomer.

Things take a turn when Emma tells her pals she is ready to move to Melbourne for Matt.
“Seeing how happy and invested Emma is in Matt at this point, I really hope that my concerns are incorrect and he is the one for her.”
Emma professes to him: “I’m feeling very giddy. I’m here to find love. And I’ve found it. Oh, my God. Yeah. I’m just… I’m definitely feeling the feels. I, yeah, definitely am falling in love with you.”
Sadly for Matt, he tells us: “It’s hard.”
“Emma’s feelings have… ..moved forward so rapidly, and so far ahead of my own. I mean…yeah, there is a chance I could fall in love with Emma. But there’s also a good chance that I might not, in the time we have left.“
After coming on a little too strong and telling Matt she’s hoping to settle down, Emma was branded as this season’s stage five clinger. However, after taking her on a few dates and peeling back her layers, it was clear Matt was far keener than we expected!
Goal-oriented, emotionally mature, and determined to find The One, Emma has kept her nose out of the drama and, as a result, Matt has never doubted her intentions.
“I can’t wipe the smile off my face,” Matt said during an episode. “I know without a shadow of a doubt that Emma’s here to find love and she’s here to get to know me.”
