Let the competition begin! New Bachelor Australia star Matt Agnew is already facing his suite of female suitors, as our exclusive photos show.

These behind-the-scenes images show the women – some of them already appearing disgruntled – being wrangled for a group encounter with the astrophysicist.
‘Some of them were scowling the whole time they were there,’ says an onlooker. ‘Maybe it was a long day filming.’
Matt has appeared more enthusiastic – smiling broadly in shots from the set. This despite already being the subject of a kiss and tell.
‘I’m still pinching myself that this is happening,’ her has said of joining the show. ‘It may be an unorthodox way to meet someone, but it’ll make for a cracking ‘how we met’ story.’
Matt has a double undergraduate degree in science and engineering, and a masters in astrophysics. Soon to be Dr Agnew, he’s also a PhD candidate at the Swinburne University of Technology where he works in the Centre for Astrophysics and Supercomputing.
But the Melbourne-based astrophysicist says there’s one thing missing – a woman to share his life with. And our exclusive photos show some of the contenders.
“I’ve got a real ‘do it once, do it right’ mentality so I’ll be making sure I throw myself into it, be vulnerable and enjoy what comes from that,’ he says.
‘I think it’ll be a sensational experience!”
