Episode three of The Bachelor Australia was something else. There were tantrums, tears and torn roses, but the most uncomfortable moment from last night’s disaster was Nichole Woods’ humiliating one-on-one with Matt Agnew.

Following a brutal battle on the footy field, Nichole scored some alone time with the hunky astrophysicist, however, absolutely blew her chances of winning him over.
After awkwardly interlocking arms and sculling champagne as if it was their wedding day, Nichole thought it was the perfect opportunity to let Matt know just that she’s far more talented than (in her words) that other “f***ing dumb blonde”.
“I dabbled in a bit of everything in high school,” the cafe manager began. “I did a bit of indoor volleyball, touch footy, netball, I get on the boxing pads too, I don’t know if you know that?”
We didn’t, Nichole, but thank god you told us. I don’t think we could’ve lived much longer without that mindblowing information.
“I skateboard, too.”
Oh, she’s still not done?
“I did ice skating in school, too.”
Ok, time to wrap it up.
“A bit of rollerblading.”
WHEN WILL IT END!!!!
“There’s a lot of things you’re clearly very good at,” Matt interjected, subtly telling her to shut her mouth.

He clearly wasn’t interested. Do you know how I know that? Because he did the awkward hover hand…
Huh?
You know, the hover hand— when you’re kind of forced to hug or touch someone you really don’t want to so your fingers just kind of rest in the air really awkwardly.
It’s a thing, look it up.
After a few more minutes of boring small talk, Matt reached under his pillow and pulled out a… rose.
GASP!!!!!!!
And then, just like the date, it fell flat.
“Oh sh*t,” Nichole chuckled, trying to find the rose on the floor.
“Let me try that again… I actually prefer it smaller!” Matt joked.

Obviously, he was trying to make her feel better because BTS, he said the blunder was definitely a sign their relationship was doomed.
“I’m not one to be superstitious, but I can’t help but think that could be some kind of sign,” Matt told the producers.
Honestly, at this point, things are pretty awkward… And this picture says more about that date than I ever could!
