The former reality star, who competed on Richie Strahan’s season in 2016, and her property developer husband revealed the exciting arrival of their son on Tuesday.
“9-02-2021 @ 9.21am Dominic Maroun. Olena Khamula you’re a machine,” Rodney wrote on Instagram alongside a sweet snap of the newborn.
Meanwhile, over on her account, Olena shared a gorgeous snap of Rodney tenderly holding their newborn in his arms.
“My two favourite boys. I love you Rodney,” she captioned the photo.
Olena and Rodney began dating shortly after she finished filming The Bachelor’s fourth season before tying the knot in December 2019.
“I’m really happy I’ve found the one for me.” Olena previously gushed to the Daily Mail Australia about her relationship.
“It’s going well, everything’s been going great and we have a very good connection.”
In August last year, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together.
During her stint on The Bachelor, Olena was known for beating out Rachael Gouvignon to reach the final three alongside Nikki Gogan and Alex Nation.
However, she became wary of a future with rope technician Richie due to the fact he lived in Perth while she was based in Sydney and questioned the logistics of how a long-distance relationship would work
“I see that as a huge mess for me. It’s travelling back and forwards for a relationship. Is that going to last?” she memorably asked.
After leaving the show, Olena explained her hesitation towards Richie to the Sydney Morning Herald.
“I really liked him at the end of the day but I knew I couldn’t say the words, ‘I love you’, so I wanted to be honest with him and with myself,” she said.
“I think it was the best decision for the both of us.”
