The lovable Lisa Carlton was left without a rose on The Bachelor last night and while the gorgeous blonde admits she has “no regrets,” she admits she wishes one particular scene between Matty and herself was broadcasted.
WHO: Have you been watching the show?
Yes, I watched last night with a few of my girlfriends, it was pretty emotional.
WHO: Who do you think is going to win?
Lisa: I guess from very early on I knew that Tara, Flo, Elise and Laura would be up there to watch.
WHO: Tara seems to be a favourite…
The thing is with Tara she came in and didn’t really take things very seriously. I think that’s how Matty kind of viewed her at the start whereas now that he’s spent more time with her he’s actually seen that she is very mature and ambitious and you can just sit down and have a normal conversation with her.
WHO: What’s next for you?
Honestly, my life is still like it was before I went on the show, the only thing that’s changed is that I’ve gained new friends and those are the girls that I was in the house with.
WHO: Which girls do you still keep in contact with?
From day one Laura, Elise, Me, Alex and Liz were just kind of a group – I don’t know we just sort of clicked straight away and still to this day I speak to them every day! Um Tara, Flo, Cobie and Nat I’m also close with.
WHO: Would you want to hang out with Matty and the winning girl once it’s all over?
I think on the night that I left, our minds were on the same track and we were open with each other – I think he was understanding of where I was coming from and vice versa. So yeah if I saw him on the street or out at an event, of course, I’d go up to him and have a chat and a laugh. There’s no hard feelings at all. It definitely wouldn’t be awkward.
WHO: Is there anything viewers wouldn’t have seen that you wished went to air?
Actually when he Osher said “Oh Lisa you didn’t get the rose, say your goodbye or whatever,” I spoke to Matty. He was like “, “See ya Lisa, thanks for the experience. You’re a legend!” And then I left… I was like dammit why didn’t they show that bit!” I was so devo. And that comment is how I know that he was respectful of me.
