After being booted off The Bachelor last night, this year’s villain, Nichole Wood, set the record straight about her seemingly bitter feud with blonde bombshell Monique Morley, revealing the entire thing was, ahem, FAKE.
Typical.
“Basically, when the new girls came in we were making jokes about our doppelgangers,” she told 10 daily, admitting that it started as a joke and then “everyone kept running with it”.
“I felt pressure to have this rivalry between her and I that wasn’t actually there. “I didn’t have a problem with Monique! We’re friends, we still talk to this day.”

Although she found herself at the centre of a juicy scandal, Nichole said she grew tired of being the villain and decided halfway through the season that she was going to steer clear of any further conflict. So, basically, she just let Abbie Chatfield and Sogand Mohtat do all the work for her!
“The other dramas that happened were more entertaining, so I sat back because I wasn’t getting involved in those!” she said.
Since leaving the Bachelor mansion, Nichole has moved on with another reality star. Yep, to Channel Ten’s dismay, she was just pictured making out with Married At First Sight’s Billy Vincent— who suffered an ill-fated on-screen marriage to Susie Bradley.
Showing no signs of heartbreak, the controversial contestant was snapped locking lips with Billy while on an intimate date in the Gold Coast.
Nichole isn’t the only contestant who has found love since being kicked off the competition. Last week, Vakoo Kauapirura and Rachael Arahill confirmed they’ve fallen head over heels for each other after they were also pictured locking lips while on a date.
Appearing on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show yesterday morning, Vakoo discussed her budding romance with Rachael, admitting that while they’ve been together for “a little while now”, their relationship isn’t as serious as everyone’s making it out to be.

“We have been really good friends for a long time, and now we are trying to figure things out,” she began. “Rachael just had this vibe and there was something different about her. It’s going really well and we are happy but we’re just having fun. People think we’re doing more than just having fun and experimenting. We’re still figuring it out.”
When asked how long it took for things to progress from friends to lovers, Vakoo— who said Rachael is the first woman she’s ever dated— said after a drunken kiss they never looked back!
“It didn’t take long. We kissed one night at her house. It was a drunken kiss at her place and things kicked off from there. I used to always try and get Rach to kiss me in the mansion, but she never would.”
Earlier this month, fans suspected the pair were more than friends after they were seen flirting on social media.
“Thankful we went on this crazy journey or I wouldn’t of met my soulmate,” Rachael, who previously worked in the adult entertainment industry, captioned a snap of her and Vakoo on Instagram.
“I love you so much!” Vakoo replied.
Adding further fuel to the romance fire, Vakoo all but confirmed in a cryptic Instagram post that she’d found love in the mansion following her elimination last week.
“I may not have found love with the Bach but I found love with some extraordinary women,” she shared.
