Word has spread that one of the 10 hunky men vying for Angie Kent’s heart will be forced to quit in an upcoming episode after discovering that his grandmother had tragically passed away during filming.

According to the Daily Mail’s on-set source, after the Bachelorette producers were informed of the sad news they put the contestant on the next flight home so he could attend the funeral.
It is believed the tragic segment in which he confronted Angie about his loss was filmed, however, at this point in time, it’s unclear if it will make it to air.
“The news sent shock waves across the show, but everybody understood and respected his decision to go and be with his family,” the insider told the outlet, confirming his family had to contact Warner Bros. directly before the contestant was allowed to receive the news.
At this point in time, we are not sure whether he returns or if he chooses to leave the competition and spend time with his family. Either way, we can imagine Angie will be very supportive of his decision.
While it’s clear the season is set to get pretty emotional, last night’s episode pulled on our heartstrings. During an emotional conversation with the former Gogglebox Australia star, Ryan Anderson revealed he had originally tried to become a firefighter but was labelled a “liability” after having to undergo two open-heart surgeries in order to treat congenital heart disease.
“Today was good for me because I always wanted to be a firefighter, but I’m a liability because I’ve had a couple of open-heart surgeries,” he explained to Angie following their fireman-themed solo date.
“What is this?’ she asked. He then replied, saying: ‘Congenital heart defect. Um…[I was] born with it. It’s called Tetralogy of Fallot.”
Ryan’s revelation clearly had an impact on Angie.
“Ryan has had two open-heart surgeries, and that’s pretty heavy to hear,” the 39-year-old said to camera after their date.
“But for him to open up and tell me that, it means a lot to me. I think Ryan feels quite safe around me because we’ve known of each other, and after our date earlier today, I feel like it’s brought us closer.”
While Angie may have fallen for Ryan’s charms, the other Bachelorette boys were left distinctly unimpressed after the pet rescuer hogged even more time with Ange after their solo date.
“Ryan’s come back from an individual date and he’s taken Angie away, and it’s bulls**t,” said an angry Jackson Garlick.
“There’s a lot of blokes that have had barely any time with Angie. To see Ryan go up to Angie only a day after getting an individual date and request more time, that really gets blokes fired up.”
