Bachelorette winner Carlin Sterritt has rushed to his girlfriend Angie Kent’s defence after a follower suggested she was enjoys far too much leisure time to be tired and jetlagged.

Taking to her Instagram the reality TV veteran hit back at accusations she’s lazy, writing: “Oh my days. If I have to respond to one more messaging saying didn’t you just get back from Vietnam I think I am going to scream. Yes I did, but that was also a work/holiday trip,” the fomer Gogglebox star began.
“I worked everyday throughout. Nothing is free in life. Blessed for the work trip but I’m allowed to be tired y’all. Tis the season to be… needing sleep for many.”
After noticing her Instagram Story, a fiercly loyal Carlin re-shared her post and added, “My girl is one of THE hardest working people I know! I can’t imagine clocking the hours that she does and still function and put a smile on for y’all.
“Everyone’s work looks different. Often up hours before I am and going to seep at the same time as me. I want to honour this incredibly hard working woman, she inspires me,” he wrote, adding a love heart emoji.
After recently confirming they won’t be spending Christmas together, Angie and Carlin appear to still be taking their relationship to the next level, with the couple spotted yesterday looking at apartments in Sydney’s Rose Bay. Their move will certainly bring them closer together as aspiring actor Carlin is based in Cronulla, and with Angie joining the Studio 10 panel this week, it looks like she’s set to spend more and more of her time in Sydney.
As we know, Angie and Carlin have gone from strength to strength since filming for the hit reality series wrapped three months ago. And while they’ve been hit with split rumours, the former I’m a Celeb… get Me Out Of Here! star has proven they’ve been able to successfully transition their romance into the real word.
“We went through a bloody roller coaster and we had to hide for three months and then we’re just thrown in the public space for everybody to judge the sh*t out of us,” she said on the Outspoken Podcast.
“Of course there is going to be times when we really really struggle but we communicate so well.We have days were we go, ‘this is so hardcore’, but we talk it out, and we don’t shut down,” she added. “I can see why it can be really hard for couples after this show. It can be hardcore.”
Angie also recently said the “honeymoon period” with Carlin is well and truly over, which might be why Carlin recently admitted that they aren’t “joined at the hip” and together all the time.
“It’s almost like the show was our honeymoon period, now it’s like full throttle, the real deal,” Angie told 9Honey at the AACTA Awards, admitting they’re the perfect match.
She continued to say how “comfortable” she and the personal trainer are with each other, admitting they go to the bathroom in front of each other, while one is showering.
“[He’s] just having showers while I’m on the toilet, just normal couple stuff, no holding back,” she added.
