Beau Ryan, who considers himself a “fan” of Angie Kent, was left devastated last week when this year’s Bachelorette snubbed him at Network 10’s Upfronts presentation.

The NRL star— who also fronts a the host of The Amazing Race— told KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning that the affable reality TV star completely ignored him at the event, despite having met on multiple occasions!
“I walk out [of the makeup room] and Angie Kent walks past,” said Beau, who once considered Angie a mate. “I’ve got to be honest, I’ve never really watched Bachelor or Bachelorette, I watched the Honey Badger for a bit, but I locked into The Bachelorette [this year]. I like her… I’ve met her at least twice… I’m a fan of her.”
The 34-year-old continued recounting the embarrassing story: “She walked past with her entourage, as you do when you’re on The Bachelor and Bachelorette, you get an entourage out of nowhere, you know what I mean?
“I’ve come out and I’ve literally said, ‘Hey, Ange!’, and raised up my hand above my face for a wave. As she’s walking past, she locks eyes with me for at least two seconds, maybe three seconds, and then straightens her head and walks away.”
OUCH!
Attempting to clear the air, Jackie butted in, asking: “No hello? No acknowledgement? Did she do it because she didn’t know who you were? Or you know when you’re in your own zone and you’re just deep in thought and you don’t realise you’re staring straight at someone. It could be a case of that.”
Beau replied: “She looks at me, saw me, definitely saw me. I turned around to the makeup girl and she said, ‘What happened then?’ I was like, ‘Did you see that?’ She did. I had no idea what happened. She brushed me!”
Trying to reason with the footy buff, Kyle suggested that perhaps the former Gogglebox star didn’t hear or see Beau. However, he’s certain that wasn’t the case.
“I looked at her! I mouthed the words. If you were deaf you would have understood what I said. And my hand was above my face, like the Queen,” he hit back.
The conversation then moved to who was more famous, with KIIS FM’s newsreader Brooklyn Ross siding with the retired Cronulla sharks player.
“Beau is, like, fifty times more famous than Angie.”
Well then, that’s that! I guess we just wait and see what the 29-year-old has to say about this whole debacle.
