Like most of Australia, Kristen Czyszek says she cringed when she watched her first date play out on our screens last week. After some one-on-one time with Matt Agnew and his feet, The Bachelor contestant— who became a viral meme when she rambled on about her obsession with China— told 10 Daily that everyone needs to relax… and stop taking her awkwardly flirtatious one-liners so seriously!
“I was definitely cringing watching that back, thank gosh the things I say trying to be flirtatious aren’t usually filmed and shared with Australia!” said Kristen, who has since been dubbed as this season’s dark horse.

“Being playful is a part of who I am and I think it’s important not to take everything so seriously, so yes I’m glad viewers got to see my cheeky side”.
Although we watched sparks fly between the super cute pair as they kayaked and rubbed chocolate scrub all over each other, the 24-year-old said she was bitterly disappointed when she realised The Bachelor’s producers had edited out a scene in which they opened up about their personal lives.
“We both opened up and shared stories about our lives, what we love and what we are looking for,” she said. “This was the most vulnerable time but also the most special. I was disappointed you couldn’t see that.”
During last Thursday evening’s episode of The Bachelor, the hunky astrophysicist sent fans— and Twitter alike— into meltdown when he went in on Kristen Czyszek’s feet during a slightly uncomfortable single date.
Although it wasn’t as terrifying as the original Chocolate Bath— courtesy of Richie Strahan and Alex Nation in 2016— things were so weird, even the Network weighed in on the dirty date!
“Does Matt have a foot fetish?” they tweeted.
Yes, yes he does.
Do we have proof, though? Kind of. We’re more than halfway through this season and there have been two foot-related dates and still, no star gazing! Explain that one, Dr. Agnew!
