Elyse Knowles may be impressing fans on The Block, but the contestant reveals she wasn’t always so confident to step in front of the camera.
Despite being a successful model, the 24-year-old has opened up about her decision to seek speech therapy before she popped onto our TV screens alongside her boyfriend and fellow contestant Josh Barker.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, “It was about confidence. If you are not confident talking in front of crowds, it can really get to you.”
“Confidence is key and The Block gave me so much experience with interviews, talking in front of cameras and being live and present, I value that so much,” she said.
So much so the star said she’s interested in any potential TV roles.
““I am willing to take on any adventure and I work really hard to get what I want and to deliver 100 per cent quality in everything I’m doing.”
Well, we’d love to see the gorgeous star on our TV screens more often. Stay tuned for any announcements.
