Weeks earlier, the husband and wife had fled a commitment ceremony following a rough dinner party, where Aleks was accused of cheating on Ivan. She also said she only thought of him as a friend, while Ivan had arranged for Josh Pihlak and Michael Goonan to attacked his wife over her choice to not disclose their sexual activities to the group.
‘What I found when I got home, I had a light bulb moment,’ Aleks explained to the experts and the cast, who were shocked to see they’d rekindled their marriage.
‘I miss this man. That’s when I realised I fell in love with this man so much.’
She said what?
Josh admitted from his back row seat, ‘I’m so f–king confused.’
Aleks stood by her shock statement. ‘I’m 100 percent in love with him. And it took exiting the experiment, in the real world, to realise that.’

The couple and the group were then shown glimpses from their last dinner party, when the fight with Josh and Michael went down.
‘Do you think that if I really cheated on my husband at the time, we’d be sitting here together? Not where we come from, morally,’ Aleks said, before taking a stab at Michael and Stacey.
‘I don’t know about the rest of you, but if you want to stay together after your cheating scandals, that’s fine. We definitely had no cheating scandal.’
Ivan added: ‘We were a lot happier leaving at that stage. Michael and Joshy might have been privileged to details about our intimacy, but, hand on my heart, I didn’t give them direct instructions to come out and slaughter me and Aleks and I stand by that.’

Josh piped up again. ‘I don’t understand how you can say there’s no passion… and now you’re in love. You definitely look like friends, but not a couple that’s in love to me.’
Aleks hit back. ‘I was falling in love with Ivan throughout the experiment. I don’t know if you heard but I said that on this couch week, after week, after week,’ she said.
Admitting that they’re ‘working on it’, ‘it’ being their relationship, Mishel didn’t buy ‘it’. ‘I think they’re faking it,’ she whispered.
‘Yeah, same 100 percent,’ Hayley added.
