Sunday night’s episode of Australia’s Got Talent gained yet ANOTHER Golden Buzzer winner, and boy, did they deserve it!
The lucky members who earnt themselves the elite button are dance/acrobatic group called Akrobatika, who put on one of the most unique performances the show has ever seen.
“Remember when we get up onto that stage, we have to show everybody what we’ve got,” their supportive studio director Jo tells the acrobatic dance group, titled Akrobatika, backstage.

“We’re Akrobatika, we’re a performance group from NSW Central Coast. We have an acrobatic dance that features stunts and different tricks,” a member explains to the camera backstage.
Judge Nicole Scherzinger asked the group on stage, “What do you think makes it unique from the other acrobatic dance groups?”
“We come from diverse backgrounds all brought together by our studio director Jo.”
Jo is clearly the biggest influence on the group, explaining backstage: “Akrobatika is a broad range of talent, we have students that are from New Zealand, Western Australia, Tasmania, and even from America! when I created the school my main goal was for kids to come to our studio and follow their dreams,”

“Akrobatika has changed my life… growing up in a country town I always dreamed of doing this stuff. doing it now is just amazing and is such a great opportunity,” one of the members explained to the camera.

The performance starts with the group showing off their talent in acrobatics but quickly transforms into a fast-paced acrobatic sequence that has the judges like:

Backward flips, forward flips, spins, hurdles, twists and cartwheels all in perfect synchronisation is what grabs the undivided attention of the audience and judges alike, with Ricki-Lee summing it up pretty nicely. “Wow”.

Nicole, clearly stunned by the performance, praises them.
“Oh my gosh you took us to Akrobatika’s world… there’s so much talent on that stage it was like a visual warrior feast up there”
Judge Lucy Durack agreed. “My mind has just been blown into a million, tiny, Egyptian, gold pieces. I LOVED it.”
And so did Manu, who couldn’t help himself but hit that mesmerising Golden Buzzer!

What a stunning performance!
