The site was founded by Sydney Olivia Humphrey as a university-only service and then expanded into American public libraries, The Sydney Morning Herald reports. And now, libraries in Melbourne, Western Australia and eventually New South Wales will offer Kanopy to members. The downside for now? Many libraries will place a cap on how many movies a month you can watch a month, but this could change too.
So put on your comfy pants and get the microwave popcorn ready for a movie marathon.
