Taylor Swift has won over the most important woman in Tom Hiddleston’s life: his mom, Diana.
Over the weekend, the new couple traveled to Suffolk, England, and spent time with Hiddleston’s family after Swift introduced the Thor actor to her own parents earlier in the week.
“Tom’s mom is just gushing about Taylor,” a Hiddleston family source tells WHO exclusively. “She thinks Taylor is the loveliest. She was so happy to meet her.”
Diana, Swift and Hiddleston were spotted walking arm-in-arm together and also visited Covehithe beach for a leisurely stroll. “They were just trying to have as much normality as possible,” says another insider about the trip. “They had the most normal family weekend you could possibly have.”
“Taylor was almost immediately part of the family,” adds the family source. “She was very easy to get to know and to speak with. Tom’s family sees him as a big celebrity, but Taylor is clearly on another level.”
On Monday, the couple landed in Rome, where they held hands and kissed while touring the Colosseum before settling down for a romantic meal together.
