Prime Video has officially announced that the second season of Aussie fan-favourite Deadloch will hit screens next year and this time, detectives Dulcie Collins (Kate Box) and Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami) are trading in the icy Tasmanian vibes for the sticky, sweltering heat of Australia’s Northern Territory.
Season 1 of Deadloch was a global sensation, landing in the Top 10 TV shows in over 165 countries and racking up five AACTA Awards, including Best Acting in a Comedy for Kate Box.
With creators Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan back at the helm, executive producing alongside Guesswork Television and OK Great Productions.

What is the plot for Deadloch season two?
Forget Tassie Noir. Season 2 enters what the creators are calling its Tropical Gothic era, complete with red dirt roads, lush canopies and glassy waterways full of 65-million-year-old predators.
The stakes are higher and the crimes are stickier than ever.
When Eddie’s former policing partner, Bushy, turns up dead, alongside the body of a local icon, Dulcie and Eddie are thrown into a croc‑infested case.
