A brief #Scandoval summary
Tom and Ariana were together for nine years, before it was revealed he had been carrying on a months-long affair with one of her best friends Raquel. But it’s messier than that.
When the news of the affair broke, Raquel had just caused chaos by hooking up with Tom Schwartz, Sandoval’s best friend and co-star. Schwartz is also the recent ex-husband to their other co-star Katie Maloney. Racquel was also recently engaged to James Kennedy, another co-star. Messy is their mantra over at Vanderpump Rules.
From Tom and Raquel wearing matching lightning bolt necklaces – which it turns out Raquel just bought herself??? – to ugly revelations that Ariana had confided in Raquel about their romance being on the rocks, there have been plenty of shocking moments from the season so far. And it’s about to get a whole lot crazier as the reunion premieres in three parts.
Where can I watch the Vanderpump Rules Reunion in Australia?
The reunion promised to “deliver the truth” behind Scandoval with “nothing left unsaid.”

“The reunion is unmissable for fans, and one of the most emotional, confrontational and jaw-dropping reunions I’ve ever hosted” Andy Cohen said. “I am so excited for fans to watch the reunion, it’s pretty big and the anticipation is huge – was Tom silent or was he silenced, and what about Ariana’s revenge dress?”
As for the third part – which dropped today on June 8 – Andy promised it would “upset every woman in America.” He added it would “cut to the core for a lot of women.”

What happened in the Vanderpump Rules Reunion?
As Andy and Lisa Vanderpump sat down with the stars, some major bombshells and some sad reflections took place. Here’s what we know so far.
Ariana calls Raquel a “rat”
“We all know men are trash, but I trust my girlfriends,” Ariana admitted of being blindsided by the affair. “So, for someone to be so ingratiated in my life, as my friend, how could someone be as close to me as she did?”
In the first episode, Ariana revealed Raquel had waited 48 hours to text her once the news broke.
“She texted me. It took her 48 whole hours to text me,” she said, then showing a text message chain.
“You are dead to me,” Ariana wrote, while Raquel replied: “Ariana, I don’t know what to say right now besides I really f–ked up and I am so so so sorry.”
Ariana then called her a “rat” and hit that block button.
Ariana accuses Tom of being “desperate”
Of his reasoning for taking part in a months-long affair, Tom said their relationship wasn’t going strong behind closed doors.
“Ariana and I kept our relationship pretty private for many years. We had issues,” Tom said during the reunion episode. “I felt like I was her gay BFF. We put on a front when we were filming and I even talked to our showrunner. For us to be having these issues and keeping it from people, I just didn’t think it was fair to the rest of the cast.”
Ariana said: “He’s framing it now as something else. Because he has to, he’s desperate.”
When Tom apologised during the reunion and said “I love you and I apologise,” Ariana replied: “He has victim-blamed me 100 percent of the way so I don’t believe anything that just came out of his mouth.”
James Kennedy loses it at The Toms
We knew from the trailer, James would be one to watch during the reunion. He’s a man who yells “you’re a worm with a moustache” – so anything could happen.
During the reunion, he labelled both Schwartz and Sandoval as “Tweedle Dee and Tweedle little d–k,” before later calling Sandoval a clown, a loser, a nobody, a nothing, and a backstabbing hoe. He also said “your band sucks” and “your bar is going down the drain.”
When Sandoval apologised to Ariana, James went in once again.
“Pull yourself together, you’re not at the Academy Awards. F–king crocodile tears,” he said.
With barbs like those, it’s not surprising their feud escalated on-screen with a near-physical altercation.
When Sandoval hit back at James – saying “you f–ked Kristen [Doute] to get on the show” – the DJ rushed towards him.
When Andy reprimanded them both, James took some time out. But not before uttering the already-iconic “you’re a worm with a mustache!”
Andy Cohen calls out the “group of cheaters”
While the actions of Sandoval and Raquel have been rightly criticized, Andy wasn’t going to let anyone in a glass houses get away with throwing stones. Well, he was, but he was going to get a barb in.
“This is a group of cheaters,” Andy said. “James, you slept with Kristen while she and Sandoval were still together. Ariana, you cheated with Sandoval while Tom was with Kristen. Schwartz, you made out with literally everyone when you were married to Katie. James and Lala, you guys had sex with each other despite already being in relationships with other people. No one in this group has clean hands except for Katie and LVP.”
Has this, Season 10 of VPR, finally seen the vindication of our gal Katie Maloney? It sure has.
Ariana confronts Raquel
It was the moment fans had been waiting for, as Ariana and Raquel came face to face for the first time. And Ariana certainly said her piece – over and over and over again.
“F–k yourself with a f–king cheese grater. You f–king suck, you’re disgusting and I wish nothing but the worst f–king s–t that could ever happen to a person on you!” was on of Ariana’s more notable comments to Raquel.
Along with this monologue: “Selfish does not f–king cover it, bitch,” Madix shot back. “Diabolical, demented, disgusting, subhuman—start getting a better vocabulary to describe your f–king actions because selfish does not f–king cover it.”
The confrontations became so intense, at one point Raquel took a step away from the set.
When Ariana was asked about the support she received from fans, she broke down in tears saying the support was the only thing to get her through things.
“It’s what kept me going. My friends and my family, you guys and strangers I’ve never met, it’s honestly what kept me going. I had a week-and-a-half where I didn’t eat and lost, like, eight pounds. I couldn’t do anything. I had someone stay with me every night because I felt like I needed to be babysat, honestly. I just can’t think of two worse people, I can’t.”
Tom takes a dig at Ariana
Andy was right, fans were NOT impressed when Tom took a dig at his sex life with Ariana.
When Andy asked if Tom had slept with anyone else since first hooking up with Raquel, Ariana said: “You know who he did sleep with after he and Raquel started sleeping together? Me.”
Tom then shockingly replied: “Yeah, she kept her T-shirt on. It was really hot.”
The cast were understandably furious, with most co-stars calling the statement “disgusting.” Even Tom’s best mate Schwartz put his head in his hands and said “don’t say that.”
Raquel’s final word
In her last interview on the show – filmed after the reunion – Raquel confirmed that Tom had asked her to lie about the details of their affair.
She revealed their affair was ongoing after filming wrapped, including when the group went to Mexico. She also confirmed she met Tom’s mum – also revealing she knew about the affair.
