David and Victoria Beckham’s firstborn is ready to leave the nest and get a college education!
Taking to Instagram, the former Spice Girl and proud mother announced that her son Brooklyn, 18, has been accepted into a New York college.
“We are all so proud of you Brooklyn. Amazing A level results and off to college. We love you so much and will miss you. #yesiamcrying #emotionalx, ” the beaming mama wrote.
Fellow celebrity mother Reese Witherspoon commented on the emotional post and offered her support to Victoria. “Now I’m crying too!😢 Great job mama!” she wrote below the sweet picture of the mother and son duo.
In the past, Brooklyn spoke to GQ magazine about the thought of moving to a new city alone and admitted: “I’m nervous, and my mum’s upset about me leaving.”
“But it’s really exciting. I kind of live in the moment. I don’t think people in New York will annoy me, and I feel like when I go there, I’ll meet lifelong friends. Stuff like that,” he added.
We can’t wait to see what the talented photographer and now college student has in store for us.
