A video of Britney Spears singing live in Singapore from 1998 has found its way onto the Internet.
The video was posted on a Britney fan site, MuuMuse, and exposed Britney’s raw, live voice.
There were no backup singers or band, and no sign of an audience. It turns out that the serial lip-syncer can actually hit the high notes and sing live.
The video was recorded at the very start of solo her career; the same year the singer, then, 16, recorded her first album, ‘…Baby One More Time’.
The 12-minute video included global hit, Baby One More Time, Sometimes and You Got It All…, which didn’t actually get released until her second album, ‘Oops!…I did it again’.
18 years on, Britney can still put on a killer performance. The mother-of-two owned the stage at the Billboard Awards on May 22, opening the show with a medley of her hits in flesh revealing stage outfits.
