It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for – the first official Baywatch trailer is finally here!
After months of clues, teasers and behind-the-scene photos, the first trailer for the highly anticipated film has finally arrived — and from crisp tans and tight swimsuits to slow-motion running and witty banter, it has everything fans could hope for and more.
In the trailer, head lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (Dwayne Johnson) butts heads with his new, cocky recruit Matt Brody (Zac Efron), a gold-medal swimmer who is brought on to help “restore the Baywatch brand.”
Matt also seems to have a problem looking the female lifeguards in the eye.
“Did you just look at my boobs?” fellow lifeguard Summer Quinn (Alexandra Daddario) asks Matt in the clip. “You should look at my face.”
“I’m trying, but it’s so close to your boobs,” he replies.
But Mitch and Matt must put their differences aside when they start to catch wind of criminal activity that threatens the beach.
One thing the movie seems to have that the 1990s TV series didn’t? Some R-rated language, as seen in the trailer.
