Frank is out the picture and Claire Underwood is the first female President of the United States.
Almost a year to the day that Kevin Spacey was fired, the final season is coming home to the White House with Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) holding her rightful place at the helm. Packed into an eight-episode season (rather than the usual 13), the first female US president is taking no prisoners. Or is she? What happened to Frank? The end of season 5 saw him move into the private sector, but as Claire takes her place in the presidential hot seat, Frank is nowhere to be seen. Just for the record, Spacey does not have a role in season 6 but you can bet we will be finding out what happened to him, and possibly in the first episode.
Fan favourites Cathy Durant (Jayne Atkinson) and Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) feature heavily in the series and although Netflix have confirmed this will be the last House of Cards, rumours abound of a spin off show starring Doug as the lead. #dougforpresident
