It is especially exciting for us F1 fans, however, as we take our very own seats (on the couch) and keenly keep up with our favourite teams and our favourite drivers year-round.

With two Aussies on the grid – Oscar Piastri in the McLaren and Jack Doohan in the Alpine – it’s never been a better time for us Down Under to amp it up and watch every race, every weekend.

So, if you’re wondering where and how you can watch F1 in Australia, then wonder no more because we’ve answered that and more below.

Where to watch F1 live and on-demand in Australia

So you’ve seen the TikTok edits, read the memes and watched the docu-series Drive To Survive, and now you’re finally ready to officially tune in to the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

The place to do that in Australia is on Kayo Sports, where you can watch every F1 practice session, qualifying session and Grand Prix race live and on-demand with a subscription.

Having access to every F1 session means you can stay across all the events during race weekends, and if you happen to miss anything you can always go back and replay it on Kayo.

What is the cheapest way to watch F1 in Australia?

The great thing about Kayo is that several subscription options are available, including Kayo One, Basic and Premium.

All three give you exactly the same great quality and quantity of content, including HD and all the features, and the only difference is the number of devices that can stream at one time.

Coming in at the cheapest is a Kayo One subscription, which will set you back $25 per month, and gives you unlimited access to content while within Australia.

Another way to stream Kayo Freebies content, including all Formula 1 practice and qualifier races, is via Hubbl – and if you’re unsure what Hubbl is, you can check out our explainer here.

The best part? Kayo Freebies on Hubbl will not require a Kayo subscription to view free content. Find out more about it here.
