If The Last Of Us left a gaping, dystopian-sized hole in your heart when its first season came to an end last year, you wouldn’t be the only one feeling a little empty.
If, like us, you’re searching for something new to fill the void, you may turn your attention to the acclaimed, world-building drama based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy of dystopian novels titled Silo.
Since its global premiere in May last year, the series was quickly hailed as a “riveting and equally start-studded,” “must-watch” series and “simply transcendent sci-fi TV” by fans and critics alike. So, it was no surprise when the series was confirmed for a second season. And then a third and fourth.
With that, you probably want to know exactly how you can watch Silo in Australia, among other things, so we’ve rounded up the essential details, below.

What is Silo about?
As per the synopsis, Silo is the story of the last ten thousand people on Earth and their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and any who try to find out face fatal consequences.
Rebecca Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer, who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles into a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, then the truth certainly will.
Who is cast in Silo?
The ensemble cast starring alongside Rebecca Ferguson includes Common (The Chi), Emmy nominee Harriet Walter (Succession), Chinaza Uche (Dickinson), and Qvi Nash (The Walking Dead).
Joining them are Critics Choice Award and NAACP winner David Oyelowo (Selma), Emmy-nominee Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation) and Academy Award winner Tim Robbins (Mystic River).
Season two stars Steve Zahn, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McCrae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie, and Iain Glen.

How many seasons of Silo are there?
Currently, there are two seasons of the hit TV series available to stream on Apple TV+, but fans can rest assured that more are on the way.
Apple TV+ has confirmed the renewal of seasons three and four, with head of programming Matt Cherniss saying the “engrossing, atmospheric and beautifully crafted sci-fi epic” quickly became the streaming service’s number one drama series.
“As we look to seasons three and four of this ambitious, character-driven sci-fi series — which will conclude Juliette Nichols’ journey and complete Hugh Howey’s epic trilogy of novels. We can’t wait for everyone to experience more of the show’s powerful performances led by the incomparable Rebecca Ferguson, as well as the unexpected twists, turns and surprises that we’ve come to expect from this very human story,” said Matt.
