Monday night’s episode of Married At First Sight saw Bronson Norrish exit the show after a nail-biting commitment ceremony showdown with ‘wife’ Ines Basic.

However, while the reality star’s reason for bailing on the show may have seemed obvious following his discovery that Ines had been having an affair with fellow groom Sam Ball, some are not so convinced of the Perth stripper’s true motives.

Following the show, fans were quick to pick up on a particularly glaring plot hole that may indicate Sam and Ines’ affair was set up by producers.

Fans seemed to find it particularly confusing when Brondish brandished a hand-written sign that said ‘leave’ at the end of the ceremony, given that he wrote it prior to even knowing about the ‘affair’.

‘Calling BS that Bronson chose to leave, he would have made the decision apparently prior to knowing that Ines cheated, when he thought things were good between them. Such scripted drama this season,’ one Twitter user wrote.wrote.

‘Very clever editing with two commitment ceremony endings. Bronson clearly had intentions to stay but another close up edit insert allowed him to present the leave sign,’ one fan theorised.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Sobinoff – who also had to deal with the news that her partner Sam was cheating behind her back – has come up with her own very interesting theory.

Speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O Show, Elizabeth revealed that there was one thing in particular that producers probably didn’t want fans to find out.

“Why would it [Bronson’s sign] say leave? Do you get to change your mind?” asked Jackie.

“No, you can’t,” said Elizabeth.

“You can’t change your mind. Once you do that you can’t change your mind. There is no going back.”

Elizabeth is referring to the fact that contestants have to leave their partners for a portion of time to make their decision to stay or leave and once they’ve written it down that decision is final.

“I think Ines really did like Sam and well, she sent him a text message,” Elizabeth revealed. “There’s an exclusive.”

“Sent who a text message?” asked Kyle.

“Bronson,” she said.

“She sent him a message saying?” asked Jackie.

“Say leave. She didn’t say why,” replied Liz. “That’s what I remember. I could be getting this wrong but there was a message there.”

The news comes after Bronson’s ex-girlfriend claimed the hunk never intended to find love on the show; but was using the experience as a chance for five minutes of fame.
