Riverdale season 3 is about to go vintage with the throwback episode airing November 8th on Netflix Australia where the main cast play young versions of their parents, and now we finally have our first look at a young Hiram Lodge. And damn, he looks good!
Last week we saw what KJ Apa, Camila Mendes, Lili Reinhart, Madelaine Petsch, Ashleigh Murray, and Cole Sprouse will look like as their ‘rents, but now we have the first pic of Michael Consuelos who will play young Hiram Lodge.
Yes, Michael is playing a high-school version of Hiram who is actually played by his real-life dad Mark Consuelos.
In the pic Michael (who stands alongside Charles Melton who will be portraying the role of Marty Mantle) wears a leather jacket, striped shirt and is rocking Hiram’s perfectly styled hair.
He definitely doesn’t look as evil as Hiram has been acting in the past few episodes.
The Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa opened up about what the #throwback episode will entail.
“One of the things that the kids discover pretty early on is that the murder victims in the present were playing a game called Gryphons & Gargoyles, which is of course the Riverdale version of Dungeons & Dragons,” he said.
“And what our kids in the present discover is that their parents, when they were in high school, were also playing this game and there was a similar murder that happened in the past.”
New episodes of Riverdale drop on Netflix Australia every Thursday night.
