We’ve had a big old crush on Zendaya for quite a while now, and on Thursday night in Sydney, the star took home an award that recognises just how incredible she is: GQ’s Woman of the Year.

WATCH: This has been Zendaya’s biggest year yet.

On November 28, the Spider-Man: Far From Home star hit up the Hyatt Regency for the GQ Men of the Year Awards, and she was definitely dressed to impress!

Pairing a cropped blazer-style jacket with a form-fitting full-length skirt, the 23-year-old showed off her toned abs in the slick white ensemble. Leaving her hair to fall naturally over her shoulder, and wearing a fresh and simple make-up look, the actress was glowing as she headed inside.

“I don’t think anyone has had a bigger year than Zendaya,” said GQ editor Mike Christensen ahead of the Hollywood star’s arrival.

“There has been a coming of age with her. She starred in Spider-man: Far From Home and has also been the star of the show Euphoria. This year is her year, so it is amazing to have someone like her as our Woman of the Year. She is not just an actress, she is keen to make sure she has a huge following and that she is a role model to the younger generations.”

In town to receive the nod (and add a little international star power to the proceedings!) Zendaya was joined at the event by local talent including actress Pia Miller, world-renowned director Baz Luhrman, singer Dan Sultan, Paralympian Dylan Alcott, model Georgia Fowler and hip hop artist Adam Briggs.

Meanwhile, Joel Creasey was on hosting duties for the night, and hit the red carpet (well, the grey carpet…) with his partner Jack Stratton-Smith.

“So bloody thrilled to be hosting and roasting tonight at @gqaustralia ‘Men of the Year’ awards,” the loveable larrikin wrote on Instagram.

“And I even got to bring along my man of every year/month/day (well, most) @jackstrattonsmith. Thank you so much to outgoing editor @christensenmike for the years of incredible support and for just being an utter legend. Also my suit is @alexandermcqueen and I’ve truly never felt more GAWJUZ.”

This is Zendaya’s first trip to Australia, and the star recently opened up to Allure magazine about her plans for the future.

“I don’t like the idea that you have to box yourself in or stay in one lane,” she revealed of exploring new opportunities. “Why wouldn’t I want to try to make the most of my talents and my gifts while I can?”

The star is also a fierce advocate for giving society a much-needed shake-up.

“I want to be a part of the change,” she explained. “It’s important that creatives of all races, if they have an opportunity or platform, use it to make room for other people.”
