Eva Longoria has been gracing television screens for 16 years, first starring in Beverly Hills, 90210 as a Flight Attendant. In recognition of her longstanding contributing to the entertainment industry, the Desperate Housewives star is now being awarded with a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Announced on June 28, by the Walk of Fame selection committee, Longoria, 41 will join actors Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson on the illustrious strip along Hollywood Boulevard as part of the 'Class of 2017'.
The 2.1 km commemorative path was the brainchild of E.M. Stuart who served as President of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce in 1953 and celebrated its 50-year anniversary in 2010.
"We look forward to their big day as the Walk of Fame Class of 2017 become part of Hollywood history on this famous walk,” said committee chairman, Vin Di Bona.
Other nominees include Grammy and Oscar winner John Legend, and House star Hugh Laurie.
