After welcoming her baby girl Elyssa via surrogate in December, Sally Obermeder’s eldest daughter Annabelle is adjusting to life as a big sister.
“She’s better now. Last night she said ‘I feel like you didn’t say hi to me as excitedly as you said hello to Elyssa,” The Daily Edition host told WHO at the InStyle and Audi Women of Style Awards, where she was honoured with the Reader's Choice award.
“I was like ‘I was excited, I was very excited’ she said ‘you didn’t sound excited, the tone wasn’t excited.’ She was grilling me! But she’s definitely getting better. It’s a big adjustment.”
Family life aside, it’s been a busy year for Obermeder business wise, releasing her superfood powders and frozen smoothie range, and introducing weekly product drops on SWIISH.com.
However it’s Annabelle, 5, who has inspired her next project; superfood powers for kids.
“Annabelle was asking us for it, but it’s a teeny bit advanced for a kids palette so I was like lets do a kids range. And now she keeps saying ‘where’s my powder?’”
The kids range of superfood powders will drop July/August this year.
