"I’d apply and I’m happily married with 4 kids," one person commented.
"Every straight woman in Australia would apply - married or not," another added.
Earlier today, the Hollywood heartthrob took to Instagram to make a deeply emotional statement about his divorce, in which he wishes Miley "nothing but health and happiness."
"Hi all, Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward," Liam wrote.
"This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love."
The pair announced their split via a joint statement on Saturday.
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time," a rep for the couple said.
“Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
She has since been spotted kissing Brody Jenner's ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter in Italy, while Liam is holed up in his brother Chris Hemsworth's multimillion dollar Byron Bay mansion.
