Fifty Shades Darker has dodged the NC-17 rating, just as the initial flick Fifty Shades of Grey was.
The highly awaited film of the blockbuster hit has officially been rated "R" for, "strong erotic sexual content, some graphic nudity and language," according to the MPAA issued statement.
The film, which is soon-to-be released film will see Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan back on the silver as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.
Eric Johnson, Bella Heathcote, Luke Grimes, Marcia Gay Harden, Robin Lee, Hugh Dancy,Rita Ora, Elena Lincoln, Kim Basinger, Fay Masterson and Eloise Mumford are all also signed on for the film.
