Following on from the singer's announcement that he has been forced to cancel world tour dates due to an injury, his Australian tour promoter have released their own statement.
"As the Australia and New Zealand leg of Ed Sheeran’s tour does not commence until March 2018, we have no reason to believe that the shows here will be affected," the statement from Frontier Touring read.
"We’re sure by March Ed will be fighting fit and incredibly excited about having the use of both his arms again. Rest up Ed – no more bicycles for you!"
The 26-year-old singer was forced to cancel dates from his tour after suffering two breaks, one in his right wrist and the other in his left elbow.
There are reports that the injuries were caused when Sheeran was hit by a car when riding his bike through London.
Here's hoping for speedy recovery, Ed!
