In the past few months The Bachelorette's Georgia Love has experienced massive highs and massive lows.
After finding love with 35-year-old Lee Elliott, the 27-year-old former newsreader's mother tragically passed away following a six-month battle with pancreatic cancer.
During an interview on The Project, Love has recalled the moment she found out about her mother's passing.
"We could finally be in the same room together and tell each other how we feel and relax," she said. "And literally 24 hours later I got the worst phone call of my life."
"It's been incredibly difficult, but it would have just been made so much more difficult if Lee had not been there," she continued.
"There are silver linings and my mum absolutely supported me 100 percent in doing this and in everything I did."
Love explained that she has been asked if she regrets her decision to leave her mother for three months to appear on The Bachelorette, but she doesn't.
"You know, you can look back at any point of your life and go, 'Well, I was away for two months travelling there or a year working there'," she continued.
"But if I had not have gone on The Bachelorette I would not have Lee. But I would have still been in Tassie, I would have been further away from my mum."
"So, you know, I don't regret anything that happened."
