To help you get started, we’ve come up with a simple, do-able collection of life-enhancing ways to boost happiness, detox your life and set yourself up for success with a positive, motivated mindset.
Start a journal
There’s something wonderfully cathartic about putting pen to paper (or tapping freely away at your laptop). The process of writing from a stream of consciousness can help you clarify your thoughts and emotions, open up new ideas and help release tension.
Diary, journal… call it whatever you like and use it for whatever you need: mindfulness, gratitude, affirmations. Just don’t restrict yourself too much – after all, if you’re not one for poetry, you’re not going to be able to sustain a promise of a poem a day. Keep it loose and just commit to writing down whatever’s on your mind a couple of times a week to start with and see where the process takes you.
Find your favourite fitness activity
Before you sign up for another gym membership you’ll probably ignore, remember this: when something is fun it feels a lot less like hard work, so find an exercise program that you’ll enjoy and look forward to. Try something new like indoor climbing, or disco spin classes where you spin to great tracks that get you moving while you’re grooving.
If you haven’t joined the Pilates revolution, give it a go to see why it’s one of the world’s most popular fitness activities - and if you stick with it, you’ll see the difference improved core strength and flexibility can make. (Here’s a hot tip: if you’re in Sydney on February 1, join WHO for our WHO Moves Power Pilates event and see for yourself! We’ll be putting on healthy breakfast snacks and smoothies and all guests will receive a gift bag to take home. Find out more here.)
Be your own bod-squad
Truth is, no-one’s going to get you fit or shake off those couple of Christmas kilos but you. So be your own cheerleader and get your game face on. Losing weight and toning up takes a combination of diet and exercise, so once you’ve got your workout plan in place, take a look at the Keto diet as an option to burn off that festive padding.
Keto (short for ketogenic) is a low carbohydrate diet that involves eating minimal carbohydrates, a moderate amount of protein and a high amount of fat per day (around 70 per cent of daily calories). By encouraging your body to use ketone bodies – fuel that the liver produces from stored fat – your body is tricked into burning fat, which it does via a process called ketosis. Many people have commented that find they’re less hungry on keto, have more energy and perform better.
The key to any diet is consistency and to help Keto dieters stay on track, there’s a range of products from Keto-Fit that have been specifically designed for keto dieters to help them thrive while on keto.
If you are doing the keto diet, Keto-Fit’s range of products are specifically designed to help you stay in ketosis, where you burn fat as energy. Fitting the keto diet around a busy schedule can be hard, so Keto-Fit made a range that can support you throughout the day.
Keto-Fit has the perfect supplement for every keto-er. It will help you save on meal-prepping time so you can spend time on important things, whilst still hitting your macros and staying in ketosis.
Here’s the rundown on some of the key products in the range:

Put your time and effort into the good people you want to spend time with and have in your life, don’t waste it dodging or engaging with negativity. This is your year of feeling good and being happy, so surround yourself with people who can make a positive contribution to your life in meaningful ways and you’re all set.
