“In all the years I have been doing Gogglebox, I am glad I did it with her,” says Anastasia, 55. But they admit their kids aren’t fans.
“My kids don’t watch it any more,” says Faye, 54, who has two boys aged 27 and 25. “But when I’m out with them, they like it when someone stares and points at us.”
“My kids rarely watch it,” adds Anastasia, who has daughter Leah, 17 and son Emmanuel, 15. “They think, ‘we live with her, why would we want to watch it?’ If we are out they get annoyed if people come up because they are invading our family time.”
When it comes to the men in their lives, Faye is still smitten with her partner of six years. But Anastasia is looking for love. “Nobody loves me. Can you find me a husband?” she pleads. “Oh, not a husband, just a partner. A husband is too much work.”
While she loves watching dating shows, when it comes to finding Mr Right, Anastasia isn’t sure if she could go on one. “If there was a guy, I would be so upset if he rejected me.”
