Malik was also treated to a smash cake and Matty couldn't help but share a photo and video of his son making a gloriously sweet mess.

Both parents shared their own heartfelt messages in honour of Malik's first birthday ahead of the party.
To make matters sweeter, Malik also shares his birthday with BFF and "big brother", Bane the three-year-old bulldog.

Meanwhile Matty shared his own selection of photos, telling his baby boy that he's "already so proud" of him.
"Happy 1st birthday my son," Matty penned.
