Sarah Marie's 33rd birthday is her first as a mum since the couple welcomed son Malik in November last year.
"If it were ever to have a negative effect on our health or our baby, we'd have to reconsider staying on Gogglebox," Matty told the puublication in February.
"But for now, Malik is chilled. We're blessed with him, he's a good sleeper and good eater. At the moment, we're feeling good, but we're not looking too far ahead."
"We were happy to keep going with the show," Sarah Marie added. "We're laidback parents, so that helps, and didn't want to leave. We figured we'd play it by ear each season and see how we feel."
Since the coronavirus pandemic hit, the Sydney-based couple have used the extra time at home as an opportunity to renovate their three-bedroom abode in Kingsgrove, South Sydney that they share with baby Malik and their beloved bulldog Bane.
Not only did they paint their house and front door but the couple also had their carport removed to open up the facade of the house and changed the outdoor lights calling it "a modern facelift."
"We still have the front porch, garage door, driveway, fencing and landscaping to do. I can’t wait to see our end result," Sarah Marie wrote on Instagram.
Matty and Sarah-Marie along with Jad Nehmetallah have been a fan favourite family since they joined the Gogglebox cast and are returning for season 12 that's set to air at the end of August.
"The last season of Gogglebox hit our screens just as we were all forced into lockdown. Sharing this strange experience with our favourite families, as we watched the world change day by day, was a really powerful experience, loved by more people than ever before," Group General Manager of LifeStyle, Wendy Moore said.
