The TV presenter, who has hosted 1200 episodes of the show, took to Instagram to bid an emotional farewell to the series.
"Hardest thing I’ve ever done. Saying goodbye to this. Final records are now done. It saved my career. I’ve worked with the nicest people in my life," he wrote.
"A massive crew who have worked harder than i ever had to make u laugh every night. They put the show before their families, friends & lives. I can’t repay that. But I want them to know I love them so much. I’ve had the absolute best time. Pure magic."
The host continued, "You rarely get this chance to have this much fun and make an impact. To the 5000 families who played with us... thank you. Tonight i raise a glass 🥂 never been so happy or thankful. A dream come true."
