While the world sits and eagerly awaits for the news of their first child, theDuchess of Sussexhas had her heart set on baby Sussex having an American nanny.
It looks like the new parents might not be breaking one but TWO royal rules.
The first being that it is a royal tradition to hire a Norland nanny and the second is that they could even employ a male carer for their new-born.
The pregnant 37-year-olds dedication for finding an American nanny shows how her heart is still very much in her homeland of the US.
The former Suits star is said to have obtained the aid of staff at a specialist recruitment agency, who have been instructed to find a suitable candidate to start within the next three months.
TheMirror revealed that a source said that the modern royal couple has very clear ideas on how they will be bringing up their child.
"Meghan was clear in telling recruiters she favours an American over a Brit and wants them to feel part of the family rather than a uniformed member of staff." said the source.
The source continued to say that this is very important to Meghan because of her fiercely proud American background which she wants to pass on to her baby.
"They are keen to explore the possibility of a male nanny. The worker will earn up to £70,000-a-year, depending on experience," said the source.
The appropriate candidates will be personally interviewed by the royal couple and if successful, will be based at their newly renovated Frogmore Cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle, as well as having the use of a car.
The recruitment agency, based in Kensington, West London, is said to specialise in providing bilingual children minders as well as favoured Norland nannies.
Kate and Williams are known to have hired a graduate of the Bath college of Norland nannies, Spaniard Maria Teresa Borrallo.

Norland Nannie's are known to dress in a brown pinafore outfit with a white shirt and brown hat with an N.
Only a handful of men are known to have attended the infamous Norland school, with the first two having only graduated just last year.
It was also recently revealed that Meghan would be breaking YET another royal tradition by not giving birth at the Lindo Wing, and having the baby out of the public eye.
