‘Her image has taken a huge hit in the last couple years and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better,’ one Hollywood source sniped to Globe.
‘She’s virtually shunned at events by other A-Listers. Many people in Hollywood from top brass to lowly crew members, are calling her a freak and a terrible phoney.’
One A-lister who is named in the report is Hollywood executive Scott Rudin, whose highly critical comments about Angelina were exposed in an email leak, where he allegedly referred to her as a ‘minimally talented spoiled brat’ with a ‘rampaging ego’, who was ‘seriously out of her mind’. He subsequently apologised to Angelina.
But professional critiques aside, Globe claims that it’s Angelina’s recent battle with ex Brad Pitt that has most stained her in Hollywood.
‘Angelina tried to smear Brad as an abusive dad and it’s come back to haunt her,’ one source outrageously alleged to the publication. ‘He was cleared of all those allegations.
‘No one likes the way she tried to keep the kids from Brad or called him a deadbeat dad when it was proven he’d loaned her $8 million to buy a ritzy California residence and shelled out more than $1.3 million to benefit her and the children.
‘Brad’s not perfect, but he’s really come out of all this smelling like a rose by admitting his faults and getting sober.’
Angelina recently implied she was headed for a career change, when asked if she would consider leaving Hollywood to try her hand at politics. And after this kind of buzz emanating from Tinsel Town, who could blame her.
‘If you asked me 20 years ago, I would’ve laughed … I always say I’ll go where I’m needed, I don’t know if I’m fit for politics … but then I’ve also joked that I don’t know if I have a skeleton left in my closet,’ she told the BBC of political life. ‘I am pretty open and out there. I can take a lot on the chin. That’s good. I honestly will do whatever I think can really make change.’
