Fans flocked to Twitter on Monday night after instantly recognising Deering on Channel Seven's House Rules.
Although not a contestant on the hit renovation show, Hotdogs appeared as the Perth property expert for Purplebricks.
Looking sharp in a tailored suit, he gave homeowners Chiara and David a valuation for their recently-renovated home in Western Australia.
Despite it being well over a decade since Hotdogs graced our TV screens, fans couldn't help but recognise the out-there character.
Deering has been working for Purplebricks since May 2017, after entering the real estate business in 2011.
The Purplebricks website describes Hotdogs as 'a devoted husband and a very proud and loving father of two amazing little girls.'
