House Rules’ Daniella Winter suffered hallucinations on the show due to pressue
A House Rules contestant has revealed that competing on the show was intense that she suffered hallucinations at one point during filming.
Queensland-based Daniella Winter, 38, and husband Aaron, 31, have made it into the grand final this Sunday, but they haven't made the journey without a few hiccups along the way.
While the focus has been on winning the $200,000 prize, Daniella has admitted things have been so hard on the show she has noticed her body has begun to “break down”.
The mother-of-two welcomed her newborn three-and-a-half months before entering House Rules and didn't attain a doctor’s clearance after her emergency C-section to partake in the physical work involved.
Due to this, her body didn't have time to heal, therefore she will have to visit her obstetrician to discuss further surgery.
“My body just was not coping with the physical side of things — “I felt very out of control, on a merry-go-round,” she told The Daily Telelgraph.
Daniella and Aaron will face the grand final against South Australia’s Kate Whiting, 28, and James “Harry” Harris, 32 this Sunday on Channel 7.
