Mel and Dave were understandably gutted by the decision. “That’s the most unfortunate circumstance. The pass or fail is here or there, but when you lose five points…” said Mel.
The loss of five points pushed Mel and Dave to the bottom of the leaderboard, which means they will be staying in the tent for next week’s renovation. Josh and Brandon liked their work on the bathroom and walk-in robe. “We thought the double showerheads and stuff was good,” said Josh. “The tiles were laid like GT stripes and stuff, I think that was really sick.”
An emotional David seemed relieved that all of their hard work was beginning to pay off. “No matter how much you fail, don’t give up because at the end of the day this is what you can achieve,” said David. “And this is what I want my kids to see, we don’t give up.”
