Nevertheless, Kardashian West, 36, has remained a steady source of support for her husband and an insider told WHO last week that reports claiming the two are headed for a divorce are not true.
That being said, the two are still struggling with marital frustrations: A source told WHO on Monday that West’s return to his busy lifestyle has caused friction.
“Kim still denies they are getting a divorce, but things are definitely not great between her and Kanye,” said the insider, noting that the couple has spent little time together since his release. “Kim acts annoyed. She seems miserable and is spending a lot of time with her family.”
Another insider, however, claimed while they may spend time apart, it’s not that out of the ordinary for the couple.
“They both do their own thing a lot of the time but they’re constantly checking in with each other about things — and especially about the kids,” said the source.
As for West, the rapper doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon: He arrived in New York City on Monday and was spotted out and about with his mother-in-law Kris Jenner‘s boyfriend Corey Gamble.
A source tells WHO the artist is in the city for meetings and is also working with a realtor to find an apartment, while Kardashian West remains in Los Angeles with the kids.
On Tuesday, much to everyone’s surprise, West met with president-elect Donald Trump at Trump Tower.
“We’ve been friends for a long time,” Trump, 70, told reporters as the two posed for photos together. He added that the pair met to discuss “life.”
