Earlier this month, New Idea reported that Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, have been spending time in Melbourne recently as their 81-year-old loved-one’s health declined.
Furness, 60, spoke to Herald Sun about her mother’s legacy and long-time devotion to charity work. “She has left an indelible footprint on so many peoples lives — through her warm, open welcoming personality she has touched people.
“Through her completely committed work at the Fight Cancer Foundation, she changed the trajectory of so many families lives. Her wish to the end was that the work she started with FCF continue with great gusto.”
“Through her heart and love and joy, her family are imprinted with a little piece of Fay that will always be there... I am forever grateful and proud that I am her daughter, she will be with me in my heart for all time.”
Sending deep condolences to the family during such a difficult time.
