The network has kept a lot of information under wraps in the lead-up to this season, as is pretty standard practice for I’m A Celebrity…
Clues dropped so far have shown that an Olympian, a country singer, an AFL player, a celebrity chef, an international reality star, and a comedian will be among the gang flown into the NSW town of Murwillumbah to rough it in the name of making money for charity.
Fans are also pretty certain that former NRL player Beau Ryan might be among the cast. Given he was spotted near the set around the time of filming, the rumour is all but confirmed – and we’ll know for sure come January 3.
I’m A Celeb attracted a lot of attention last year, given it was the first reality TV show to kick off during the ratings period.
Influencer and podcaster Abbie Chatfield came out as queen of the jungle for 2021, winning $100,000 for Dementia Australia in honour of her grandmother, who passed away in 2020.
“I can’t believe it, me doing this, everything was for Grandma. I’m so so happy and really grateful I could do it for her,” she told MediaWeek in the wake of her win.
We’re anxiously waiting to see which celebrity, and which charity, will take home in the win for 2022!
