Abbie shared a clip of her interaction with Dipper to her own Instagram page and slammed his claim that their differences were due to a generational gap.
"Women are told to cover up, or risk being accused of asking for it. What 'it' is may range from attention to sexual assault," she wrote.
"We are told alter our behaviour because men are dangerous. The notion that comments like this exist because men are 'protecting' us is, put bluntly, f***ing bulls***. Whether I was in bikinis, my camp gear or running around naked, a comment on what I’m wearing is never warranted. @ashwilliams1 barely has his shirt on (joyous vibes for me), and nothing is mentioned. Twitter is going off about how much they love him for le rig, but each pool scene is met with people telling me to put my tits away."
She added: "I also don’t think a generation gap is a fair excuse. My uncle @uncle_robbie_j has never said anything like this to me or his daughters. I’ve been lucky in that way, and it’s probably a huge reason for my reaction.
The Bachelor star added that whilst she and Dipper made amends, his comments still hold significance.
"Dip and I did the WAP after this, and while he didn’t *mean* anything by his comments, the notion persists," she finished.
"Some on Twitter are saying that I should get over it, and that every woman has heard a comment like this from their father, but missing the fact that .... That is precisely my f***ing point."
Fans jumped to Abbie's defence on social media and praised Abbie for calling out Dipper's "protective" language.
"Stand your ground and change the dialogue. It’s brave women like you I admire!!!!" one wrote.
"I come from a family with 3 older sisters. My dad had 5 women under the roof. Not once did my Dad say anything remotely along those lines to any of his four daughters (and we all had big boobies). Go girl. Loving watching you," another commented on Abbie's post.
One person even remarked: "Maybe he just felt uncomfortable because you’re a young girl and he is older and didn’t want to come across inappropriate on tv if his eyes viewed your body unintentionally."
She may not count Dipper as one of her closest pals at camp, but Abbie's friendship with Australia's Got Talent star Jack Vidgen has gone from strength to strength.
I'm A Celeb viewers took to social media to share how much they're loving the dynamic duo.
"Team Jabbie all the way," one wrote.
"Just love the both of you, stated another.
