Imogen— who was returning to the country after a week of heavy partying in Los Angeles with close friends— is said to have ignored questions about her split from Kyle which were asked by the paparazzi and instead solemnly made her way through the terminal as she covered her weeping eyes with a pair of sunglasses.
While he refused to elaborate on the reason behind their shock split, the radio shock jock nonchalantly announced on air on Tuesday morning that he and his girlfriend of eight years had called time on their whirlwind romance.
"A lot of people have been hitting us up on social media, a few phone calls, some media enquiries about my relationship status. It ran its course and we haven't lived together for some time," he told his KIIS FM listeners. "We split several months ago."
After sharing the news, fans were left in a state of panic when he did not turn up to work the next day. Shutting down rumours he was struggling, his KIIS co-star Jackie O Henderson said the 44-year-old is "okay" and "doing fine".
Jackie, who manned the KIIS FM desks with regular fill-in host Beau Ryan and James Weir, also revealed that she had no idea why Kyle didn't turn up for work.
"I don't even know why he wasn't in today," she pushed.
She later said Kyle would like to deal with the matter privately.
