It features Lee Elliott, who won his season and went on to marry Georgia Love last week, and Matty J, who came second on his season but went on to find love on his season of The Bachelor and now has two children with Laura Byrne.
In the middle of Lee and Matty is an image of a man with a question mark over his blacked-out face.
The picture included the text, “Are you next to meet THE ONE?”
"The Bachelorette Casting Now For Series 7."
Jake hilariously made a jab at himself, captioning the post, “Moral of the story – if applying to be on The Bachelorette… ‘Don’t be a Jake, be like @leeroyelliott & @matthewdavidjohnson’ LOL #thanks #feels.”
So, Bachelorette hopefuls, there is your wise advice that comes from an experienced dating show novice.
For ultimate success, there is no doubt Jake would endorse going back to his seasons to observe his actions and go on to do the exact opposite, and then you too can become a Lee and Matty J.
Or maybe all Jake did was insult Georgia with his infamous pinky ring, which seems like something most people would be happy to avoid.
The groom of the hour Lee Elliott is evidentially anti-pinky rings when he gave Jake his 10 cents in the comments section, posting, “I blame the pinky ring!”
Jake took this dig in his stride and he replied, “I think you’re pretty special.”
One could wonder if Lee and Georgia were somewhere loved up and cosy during their Tasmanian honeymoon when Jake made this gag because the newlywed sneakily commented on the post too.
“*Backs out of the room slowly,*” said Georgia.
Renee Barrett, who was rumoured to be dating Jake last year, made a sweet or perhaps a subtly sarcastic comment on the post.
She said, “I think you’re pretty special.”
Jake’s dating history has been coloured by his on- and off-again relationship with blonde beauty Megan Marx.
Megan is known for her appearance on The Bachelor and Bachelor In Paradise.
The couple famously got back together after Jake proclaimed his love for her live on TV, during his second appearance on Bachelor In Paradise last year.
Even though Megan wasn’t on the show once she saw his bid for her love play out on national television, she eventually let him slowly back into her life.
However, the reconciliation was short-lived, and they broke up again by December.
Megan broke the news of their quit in an interview with the Courier Mail.
“We have been broken up for quite a while now. I’m good, I’m happy. I’m living life,” Megan, 31, told the publication.
By January, Megan revealed her new beau, Keith Newman, on her Instagram.
The quick turnaround would have been a big blow to Jake, who is publicly deeply in love with his Paradise ex, who he originally got together with in Fiji in 2018.
Hopefully, The Bachelor Australia canon’s lonely boy, Jake Ellis, will soon meet his one true bachelorette.
