The contestants have to survive on whatever food they can find on the island, along with some basic rations, while they are on the show.
Speaking to 10 Daily, the Boost Juice founder told of the disgusting side effects of eating too much of one staple food, which was abundant on the island.
"I mean, look, coconut gives you diarrhoea if you eat too much of it!" she shared.
Other contestants told of the unexpected health benefits they'd experienced on the show.
"My skin! Man, with the lack of sugar and you know, alcohol, caffeine and everything, my skin glowed! I remember coming out and thinking ‘my skin looks great!’" AFL star Simon Black told 10 Daily.
"It was really amazing, with a Fiji tan, as well."
