“Waking up alone is getting harder and harder, 3 weeks already feels like 3 months! I miss you so much and love you more than ever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Hurry up and come home to me please beautiful 😘😘😘😘,” Jarrod captioned the snap.
Just a week ago, Sam shared the same photo on her Instagram account with a similar message.
“Five days down, eighty three to go 💋 Sending lots of love to all the COVID long distance relationships,” she wrote.
“Missing someone sucks, but how bloody lucky are we to have someone special to miss 👫,” she added.
Back in June, Jarrod penned another Instagram dedication to his girlfriend to mark Girlfriend Appreciation Day, on their five month anniversary.
“Today is a very special day, well I think it is 😋 It’s Girlfriend appreciation day for those that don’t know. So a massive shout out to @samroyceee for being the most amazing girlfriend a guy could ever dream of!” he wrote.
“Happy 5th month anniversary beautiful and can’t wait for the next 5 months 😆😆.”
Jarrod, who shot to fame on Sophie Monk’s season of The Bachelorette in 2017, later found love with fellow Bachie Nation star Keira Maguire.
But after a dramatic on-off relationship, the pair finally called it quits in 2019.
He revealed she had changed his outlook on life after being with Keira, adding he is now less focused on social media and popularity.
"I don't know if Sam would be happy with me saying this, but she thought I was a bit of a snob to start with, which, to be honest, I was because I was in a limelight relationship and it kind of makes you think that this is your life but it wasn't," Jarrod told 9Honey.
"I slowly got back down to earth and Sam's helped ground me.
“She is my forever and I see more of a future now than ever with this one. We're both very happy,” he gushed.
Jarrod has previously revealed the public and volatile nature of his relationship with Keira was behind their messy breakup.
"Her Instagram following is overwhelming, and it was taking over our relationship," he admitted to WHO following their breakup.
"She's purely Instagram-focused and that takes up a lot of time."
